The Hub
Since 1967 we have practiced an individualised approach to providing a service that prioritises co-design and personalised support for people with disability across Western and South-West Sydney. We support you to access Social, Leisure and Skill-building programs / activities at:
- Anowah’s Community Connect Hub - Horsley Park
- In the community &/or,
- In your home.
Anowah offers individualized and group support as well as involvement in larger events, so if you are between 17 and 65 years and have a NDIS approved plan, we can help you to achieve your goals and vision for your future.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Cooking / Baking
- Build social skills
- Sensory activities
- Navigating public transport
- Immersing yourself in art culture
- Community access to various places and events
- In-home support
- Music therapy
- Self-care / Personal care
- Involvement in community events
- Volunteering opportunities
- And much more!
In addition, Anowah offers Carer Support Information sessions throughout the year to assist clients, families and carers. This includes various support available to carers, information about guardianship, trusts & wills and much more!
Personalised Support to Access the Community
For those times when you just want to do your own thing, or you have an important appointment you need to attend, Anowah offers personalized support.
We can arrange to schedule regular times for you, or on an adhoc basis with sufficient notice for your appointments.
Holidays
You don’t need to find a stranger to take you on your holiday. Many of Anowah’s regular support staff are happy to travel with you on a short break. Many of our clients like to go on a cruise, and some families like to arrange some additional support if you decide to make a home visit. We work with you to plan some time away with someone you already know and like to spend time with.
