On Tuesday the 6th of June, four Anowah clients attended Wetherill Park TAFE to participate in recreational activities with the community service students, as part of the students requirements for their certificate. The students role was to interact and provide activities that participants could engage in.
The students arranged four different activities for client participation, including board games, drawing, colouring and creating animals from plasticine. Activities were adapted to suit the clients individual needs. The clients also enjoyed the students organising YouTube videos of their favourite singers. A fantastic day was had by all, and the clients were excited to receive a certificate at the end of the day. For lunch everyone enjoyed a variety of different pizzas that were cooked onsite by the students.
